A #FOIA backlog of 27 months for a single 65-page document on its own is a lack of transparency, but the fact that the @FBI seems to struggle with math (27 months from November 2019 is February 2022, not April 2023) is troubling. In November 2020, Immigration Judges decided 1,985 asylum cases. They denied about 71%, granted about 29%, and granted other forms of relief in about 1% of cases. This is on par for FY 2020 when the denial rate was about 71% for the year.
